Sorry, but no new Simone & Ajax page this week, and probably not next week, either. Getting over a cold has thrown me too far off schedule with my work on The Simpsons and Protectors Inc., but the dashing duo will return very soon.

With Simone & Ajax returning tomorrow, it’s time to hit the road to promote it. I met some of you readers at Fables Con and C2E2, but here’s the rest of my planned con schedule as it stands now:
May 31-June 2
Grand Rapids, MI
Plans may change, or I may add another con, and I will try to update here. I’ll be at all these cons to sign your comics, as well as have original art, prints, and my books with me. At some shows, I’ll also be sketching and taking commissions.
And remember to check out an interview with me on the Riverdale Podcast, where I discuss not only my work with Archie Comics but with Simone & Ajax, too!
After taking care of trouble at home, Simone & Ajax are now on their way back to the high seas to wrap up their tale of Pirates, so watch this page for new adventure in the next few weeks. They’ve used some of this time away to also start planning their next adventure, so get ready for that!
Shameless Holiday plug time! Looking for something fun for that someone who has everything? I bet they don’t have “The Adventures of Simone & Ajax” paperback. There’s still time to get it in time for gift-giving (or yourself!). And as an added bonus for this time of year, one of the several stories it contains is the 45-page, Harvey Award-nominated “A Christmas Caper.” Great to read by the fireplace on a snowy night! Available from Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, comics shops, and other booksellers.
Here’s a video interview I did, recorded in October at the New York Comic-Con. While it deals more with my work at Archie Comics, I hope you’ll still enjoy it:
The launch of the new Simone & Ajax webstrip has been getting some coverage from the comics press lately on sites sych as Bleeding Cool, The Beat, and more. Two sites have run longer pieces on our daring duo: First Comics News has run an interview with me about Simone & Ajax that you can read here, while The Lottery Party has run a nice review of the site here. Please check out these stories if you want to read a bit more about Simone & Ajax. Thanks for visiting and see you Tuesday for a new instalment.
UPDATE: Here’s another great review for “The Adventures of Simone & Ajax,” this time for the book collection. Being compared to Carl Barks’ Uncle Scrooge comics, Archie Comics, and TinTin is always a wonderful feeling. Click here to read.
I mentioned before that I’d be doing an exlusive print for the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend. Here’s a better look at it. Come find it, along with me and other fun comics stuff, at Artist Alley table 2404D.
I mentioned that Simone & Ajax meet Frank Cho’s Liberty Meadows crew in the Liberty Meadows 15th Anniversary book, available exclusively at the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend and that the original for it will be the first finished S&A art ever sold (at auction at the con). Here’s a look at that piece.
